Stamp it Group February Blog Hop – Spring Fling

Hydrangeas, fluffy, pillowy pastel clusters of tiny little flowers. That just feels good to think about…..ready to jump right on into Spring. This is a set that can help you mentally make the leap. Hydrangea Haven Bundle just screamed my name for this Spring Theme.

Card base: Basic White Thick card cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ for a standard side folding A2 card.

Highland Heather cardstock: 1st matt:3-7/8″ x 5-5/16″ 2nd matt: 2-3/4″ x 4-3/8″.
Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper cut with largest Stitched Rectangles Die.
Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper sprayed with Misty Moonlight ink from re-inker mixed with water. Sprayed along top and aloud to drip. Cut to: 2-1/2′ x 4-1/8″.
Hydrangea Bloom stamped on Fluid 100 Watercolor paper. Used a sponge dauber to apply ink to the bloom in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. Mossy Meadow and Old Olive is sponged onto the leaves and stem. The inked photopolymer image is misted with water then stamped onto the watercolor paper. Once dried, die cut with coordinating die from the Hydrangea Dies.
Attach the Hydrangea bloom to the watercolor paper with drippage, with glue. Attach that panel to the smaller Highland Heather matt. A bow of Gorgeous grape is wrapped around the smaller panel.
Attach the DSP to the larger Highland Heather mat.
Attach the smaller matted image to the front of the larger matted image with liquid glue, then attach the finished front panel to the card base front.
On scrap Basic White cardstock the greetings “You are capable of amazing things” and another “For You” are stamped in Highland Heather, then die cut with the coordinating dies. They are attached with dimensionals and liquid glue. Then a little further pizzazz is added with the Pastel Pearls in Gorgeous Grape.
Inside the card cannot be ignored…showed it a little love with a little bloom of hydrangea and some leaves for additional color. Also with the water color effect as I did on the front image.
