The Wonderful Blackberry Beauty

I have been busy busy playing, I have put a focus on Fall themed cards, several things have been screaming my name and I just can’t get into my Christmas Mojo just yet.
Todays card is created with the Black Berry Beauty Suite, it is beyond gorgeous! Are you a Blackberry Bliss and/or Rich Razzleberry kinda person? This is definitely the Suite for you. The Specialty Designer Series Paper was delayed for a bit but I was so excited when it was finally available, it is beautiful.
The floral images are gold heat embossed onto Blackberry Bliss cardstock, then cut with the coordinating die. The extra leaves are cut from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock and Brushed Metallic Cardstock. The dies for the extra leaves actually emboss the leaves as well – they are gorgeous, I hope that can be seen in the photos. For a bit of texture, I embossed a strip of basic white cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. I used a sponge dauber to add some Blackberry ink to the smoother side of the embossing folder to lay down a bit of color onto the card in the background so the words would pop a bit more. I framed the Basic White embossed strip with 2 strips of one of the patterns in the Specialty DSP. I also used the layering circles dies to cut a basic white circle and a larger scalloped circle in Blackberry Bliss as a mat for the larger gold embossed floral image, which is attached to the circles with dimensionals. The sentiment comes from the Free Sale-A-Bration Host stamp set – In Your Words. This is a beautiful encouraging, sentiment only, stamp set. The sentiment “I see you and you are wonderful” is stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Basic White cardstock and matted on a strip of Blackberry Bliss. The finishing touch to the front image is a double bow in Linen Thread and a few Brushed Metallic adhesive backed dots. Well, isn’t that just a mouthful, it is difficult to speak the words but even more difficult to think and type the same thing, in my opinion… oooo, that was a test.
Inside is lined with a piece of Basic White, then adorned with the smaller gold embossed floral image, a couple more leaves and another Brushed Metallic dot. This is a BEAUTIFUL Suite – I will definitely be doing a lot more with it.
