Home to Roost
First you will need: Soft Suede Cardstock cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ for the card base.
Tranquil Tide cardstock cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ as card mat layer, 3/4″ x 3″ scrap for sentiment, 3-1/4″ circle using circle die.Wood Texture DSP but to 1-1/2″ x 4. Whisper White Cardstock but to 3-3/4″ x 5″ and an inside panel cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″.

Begining with the Whisper White Circle, stamp the rooster onto a sticky note, fussy cut the rooster, place it on the circle piece where you would like him to stand so when stamping the tall grass across the piece the roosters space will be untouched. Now, stamp the grass in Crumbcake after stamping off 1 time for each cluster used across the circle. Remove the the rooster mask, in Soft Suede, stamp the rooster in his nice clean spot. Color in the rooster with water color pencils, pull out the aqua painter and push the color around as you see fit. Set aside to dry. On the small strip of Whisper white stamp the sentiment from Home to Roost, cut a flag on one end, center and attach to the Tranquil Tide strip, cut flag to outline Whisper White sentiment. Attach the Whisper White top panel to the Tranquil Tide mat, attach the Wood Grain DSP to the front of the Whisper White front panel. Attach the Rooster circle panel to the larger Tranquil Tide circle. Attach to the front of the card. Tie brown cording into a bow attach.
Center and attach the larger Whisper White panel inside the card. In the lower right corner stamp the rooster in crumbcake, then stamp the sentiment from Part of my Story in the center upper half of the card.
