To a Wild Rose takes on black Friday

Hey everyone, thanks so much for taking a minute (or two) out of your day to visit with me. I do appreciate your time!

This is a card created for an Inspiration challenge #TGIFC225 at TGIF Challenges. From the start of seeing this challenge a vision of graffiti came into mind. I am so excited about this card so lets just jump right in.

The card base is a half sheet of Basic Black card stock cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ for a top folding card. I ran a cut to size piece of Basic Black through the die cut machine with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I coated the raised grout side of the folder with Whisper White Pigment pad to give the appearance of grout. I love how that turned out, exactly as I had hoped. I was even able to get a bit on the bricks for a light white washed looked. I amped up the white wash on a few bricks with a white gel pen.

The graffiti is applied to this brick panel from the Wild Rose dies, I cut the Lovely Lipstick Foil (discontinued) through the machine with the flower image, then used Old Olive to die cut the leaves. The sentiment “Thanks” comes from the Well Written Die set. Thanks is cut from basic black card stock 3 times and 1 time from Grapefruit Grove Foil (discontinued). I glued all 3 black sentiments together, then the final Grapefruit Grove layer is applied.

Everything is applied to the brick panel, then the finished panel is applied to a mat of Grapefruit Grove. I added a few jewels from Pretty Pink Posh for additional bling.The inside is not to be forgotten, the inside is lined with a cut to size piece of Whisper White Card stock, I attached a strip of Lovely Lipstick foil and an Old Olive leaf sprig. I am in love with this card and I can not keep West Side Story (for unknown reasons) from running through my mind.
