Is it really the end of October, I am all for it, but wow…..time stood still for a long while, then it accelerated to warp 9! A new week brought a new challenge from Global Design Project. The challenge is to Case the Designer – this time we are casing this super fun card designed by Steffi Helmschrott. For inquiring minds, what does CASE mean, in this challenge CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit.

Here is what I created this week for this challenge.

I am now in full blown holiday crafting mode! I took the watercolor effect shown and ran with it. Instead of cool, refreshing, tropical drinks, I channeled my holiday mind set and brought out the gift wrapped boxes with huge bows. What else could this be if not Christmas Cheer. I used the Dressed to Impress “watercolor” image, stamping it several time to create “boxes” in Garden Green, Pacific Point and Real Red. Then I reached for the Gift Wrapped Bundle, stamped 3 bows from the set, in the same color as the boxes and colored them in with the same Stampin’ Write markers, then punched them out with the Gift Bow Builder Punch. Glued the bows directly to the boxes added a gift tag and some stars also from the bundle. I can feel the anxiety of the holidays building……can you?
