CAS(E) this Sketch CTS #329
Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by!
Today I have a card created for the sketch challenge at CAS(E) this sketch! CTS #329 by Chrissy Larson.
For this card, the card base is a simple side folding Whisper White Thick cardstock. Cut at 5′-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. I used a piece of Basic Black for the base mat.
Apparently the ghost of Piet Mondrian entered my thought patterns, because I seemed to have taken a nod towards his work for this sketch. I also am in the groove of using the New In-colors from Stamin’ Up!. I cut Basic Black card stock, Seaside Spray Cardstock and Rococo Rose Cardstock to the sizes I thought best represented the sketch. Layering the matching Designer Series Paper on top of the matching cardstock, then matching each rectangular piece with Basic Black.
“hugs” is a die cut out of my stash, I believe it is a Gina K Word Die. I cut it twice in basic black. Glued the two words together with liquid glue. Everything was then applied to the Whisper White mat with liquid glue. The completed panel was then attached to the Basic Black mat on the card base.
Thanks again for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this card. If you have spare moment, consider hopping on over to CAS(E) this sketch! to learn more about this challenge, also take a look at what the Design Team Members and other card designers have created for this sketch. I must leave your for now, but I shall return. Until then, keep crafting, exploring and creating.
