Found the Right Triange for this CAS Colours & Sketches #380 Color Challenge

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my little happy spot. Take a look around and hope you enjoy.

We would love to see what card creation you can bring to life. Please consider, taking a minute to post your card creation in our challenge gallery at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I am so loving being apart of the Design Team at CAS Colours & Sketches. The host for this color challenge is one of our Design Team Members, Julie. She has selected the colors for this challenge to be Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral and Mint Macron, a soft and beautiful color pallet, don’t you think?

Please keep in mind the colors names do reference Stampin’ Up! colors, however, feel free to use whatever is in your stash that most closely represents these colors. Off you go, explore and create. Please post your card creation on the CAS Colours & Sketches Blog for Color Challenge #380. Would love to see what every one comes up with.

I decided it was high time to play with The Right Triangle Bundle recently released in the 2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. This bundle is all things triangle. The stamp set provides images that could be used to fill in a triangle shape, that can then be die cut with your choice of several stitched triangles – 3 triangle shapes with 4-6 stitched dies in various sizes, with a few fill in dies to round out the limitless set.

Here is what I came up with, super quick and easy. I used 2 sizes of the same die cut triangle shape.

Start by using up scraps of Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron card stock, stamp the filler images from the Right Triangle Stamp set, with the coordinating ink color. Balmy Blue Ink on the Balmy Blue Cardstock. Die cut with each image with the coordinating Stitched Isosceles Triangle die. The larger triangle is cut from a pattern in the Playing with Patterns DSP. Quick and Easy! Arrange the die cut triangles on a Whisper White side folding card base and this card is just about finished! The greeting “Thanks for being Marvelous” is stamped in Calypso Coral is comes from the In The Woods stamp set – such a cute set!

Inside the card, I attached more triangles along the bottom of the card, repeating what was already on the front. This card was so quick, easy and fun to pull together. I love how how the colors and my thoughts for this card came together.

Thanks again for stopping by and spending a bit of your time with me. I hope you enjoyed learning about how this card came together. Hopefully you were even inspired just a bit. Thank you, hadn’t looked at that way, but now that you mention it, I do see it.

As a quilter I love this but also as a card maker/sender as it looks like an envelope! Terrific card.
