Hello there!  It’s the third Tuesday of the month, which means it’s time for another color challenge here at CAS Colours & Sketches.  This week Wei has created a bright, Springy and cheery combination for you. We would love to see what you can create with these super fun colors. Hop on over to our blog, see what the design team has created to inspire you, make that inspiration into a creation and then post your creation on our blog.

This is where my head went with these colors. Kind of a bizarre direction until you add to the mix the birthday of my young niece coming up. The snails in the set are just too cute!

I used the Snailed it bundle to create this card. The snail, colored with a Crumb Cake Stampin write marker, is carrying packages colored in Coastal Cabana and Magenta Madness. The snail is scooting along in the most beautiful blue sky. I stamped the background using the hydrangea filler stamp from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp set in Balmy Blue.

Its very difficult for me to leave well enough alone, so I used a stitched shapes circle to cut out the snail and the next size up to create the Balmy Blue mat. Since this is the cutest bundle ever….(one of many, of course)I had to make sure my niece had more than one piece of mail to open, I used the envelope and letter die cut from the coordinating die set. The envelope is cut from Coastal Cabana cardstock, the letter is cut from Basic white card and the message is stamped with Magenta Madness. I added a little die cut heart, also in the coordinating dies, to be sure she could feel the love.

This is such a cute card Shannon and I’m sure your niece will be charmed! I love the way you coloured your snail and made a medallion for her – the perfect place to tuck that little envelope behind! Vicky x
