Welcome to the first week of September! A new month means a new hostess, this month Jenny has a fun collection of challenges to get those imagination juices flowing! Lets see what you can create with our first Color Challenge of the month. Don’t forget, we would love to see what you can create with this challenge. I am loving this new round of In-colors for 2021-2023. The Polished Pink is such a bright and fun color that is actually gaining popularity in my workspace, pink is not a color I go to, so its fun to step out of my wheelhouse and play with this one.

I decided to go with the Delicate Dahlia stamp set from Sale-A-bration. This is a two step stamp set, but I chose to go with just the outlines of the images and then use the Dark and Light Blends to add a touch of depth. The flower is Polished Pink and the clusters of leaves are stamped with the Evening Evergreen 2nd generation and colored with the Soft Succulent Blends. The sentiment is also stamped in 2nd generation Evening Evergreen and comes from the Delicate Dahlia stamp set. I cut the finished focal panel with the largest die from the Scalloped Contours Die set, and attached it with a Foam Adhesive sheet on Soft Succulent card stock. The inside of the card is lined with basic white cardstock that has the dahlia and leaf cluster image outlines stamped in Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and 2nd generation Evening Evergreen.

Evening Evergreen is a very dark, strong color. I prefer to use the 2nd generation ink when it is used with softer colors.
