Shimmering Gorgeous Fall Leaves and a Baby Wipe Ink Pad

I am in full Fall mojo these days – absolutely love playing with some of the new sets from the Stampin’ Up! July – December 2021 Mini Catalog.
These cards use the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle, the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper, Cork Specialty Paper and a touch of golden shimmer. Majority of the stamping is done using the Baby Wipe Technique – apply several dots of ink from ink refill bottles to create a custom stamping “pad”. It can be used over and over, spritz with some water when the color starts declining or reink with the refill. The colors I used were Cherry Cobbler, Bumble Bee and Cajun Craze ink. I stamped the larger die cut leaves as well the leaves stamped in the inked and embossed background. For the background, using sponge daubers, I inked the the smoother side of the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder with Cherry Cobbler, Pale Papaya and Bumblebee ink, carefully blending the edges so it took on the smooth transition of a rising or setting sun sky. After using the baby wipe to stamp the little leaves on a quarter piece of Very Vanilla, I ran the cardstock with the embossing folder through the machine – I love the texture. I then die cut the larger stamped leaves, as well the smaller leaves from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock and the Brushed Metallic Cardstock. I inked the edges of the Cinnamon Cider leaves with a bit of Cherry Cobbler. I cut the embossed Very Vanilla panel in half at 2-1/8″ to be used on both cards. Brushed Metallic cardstock is used as a mat. Both cards have the Cork Specialty Paper – it is truly cork. The Espresso card uses a touch of the Beauty of the Earth DSP. The sentiment “Follow your Dreams” is stamped on Very Vanilla with Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler Ink respectively and comes from the Through it Together sentiment stamp set in the Annual Catalog. The Early Espresso card uses the Gold Shimmer Ribbon. The inside of each card is decorated with the stamped and gold die cut leaves. NOTE: The smaller Cinnamon Cider Oak Leaves use a die from the Giving Gifts Dies.
