Card Examples

Its a family thing…..

Hello friends, thanks for stopping by today! My daughter has become a big card maker now, shes been watching and learning from me along the way, she has decided to start putting her new skills to work. She has created a few cards along the line but had a very big desire to have me post these for you to see. I let her play with Simon Says Stamps at will, she has to show that she can take care of all the items she uses before I let her use my Stampin’ Up! sets, blends, etc. She receives the Simon Says Stamp monthly card kits and loves playing with those. I love that it exposes her to all the different techniques and products out there. She can make her card making choices from that broader knowledge and take it where she wants to go.

With her, alternatives are the norm. You never know what your gonna get. Why follow the rules? I’ve tried to convince her to make at least one of the cards from the kit the exact way the instructions say so she can learn from the process, technique, whatever the focus is. Oh no, it is way more for the mish mash several kits together and come up with something quite original! I say…. nothing wrong with experimentation….on some levels, there is still some learning going on. So without further adieu….

Let me know your thoughts?
