I created this card for the Team Stamp it Card Swap using a new bundle from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. I gotta say it just didn’t seem like I should be creating Christmas Cards in July, however that’s the perfect time to start creating all the holiday gifts and cards. It certainly allows for the creative process to grab you in just the right way, creating all your items with plenty of time to spare.
This card uses the new Stars are Shining Bundle. This bundle includes a punch that cuts out lots of stars which I used on the inside of this card, the stamp set with this bundle is used for the focal image greeting and for the stars punched for the inside. First I make a side fold Basic White card base, then cut 1/2″ off of the front flap. All the images and greeting are Gold heat embossed, including the 1/2″ accent strip down the side which is really on the inside of the card. The background panel uses the GORGEOUS 2021-2023 In- Color Evening Evergreen. The piece of cardstock is embossed using the Bark 3D embossing folder, from the Annual Catalog. Also from the Annual Catalog is a patterned paper from the Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP Inside the card. Along the edge is a strip of Evening Evergreen that has been gold heat embossed using Versamark ink and the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks. The brushed gold mat for the DSP is from the Brushed Metallic 12″ x 12″ Cardstock. The greeting and ornament images are gold heat embossed on a tag die cut from the Tailor Made Tags die set, also found in the Annual Catalog. The final touch to the card front is this beautiful Gold 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon from the new Mini Catalog.
