Good luck to you all and enjoy the hop.

I am absolutely in love with this card! First off, I love the look, colors and smell of lavender. So much so that I have anything and everything connected to it. Lavender shower gel and lotion, essential oil for my laundry, diffusers, candles, etc. So it is a natural progression that I had to have the Lavender Suite. I personally don’t do much with patterned paper unless I can connect with the majority of the patterns in the pack, this set is a success with me – purple is always welcome, I adore the natural rustic feel of crumb cake – this entire suite has won me over. For this card, I had the overwhelming need to add in the Simply Zinnia bundle – for an additional touch of color. It feels more like a flower garden with that addition which also works perfectly for a birthday card. The Crumb cake gingham patterned paper works so well for the background – and I simply love the pattern. The colors are what makes me the happiest with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape for the lavender. Berry Burst, Lofty Lemon, Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape cardstock for the Zinnia. The leaves are Mossy Meadow and Old Olive cardstock. The flowers and leaves are cut with the coordinating Simply Zinnia die set. The sentiment is from the Notes of Nature stamp set, stamped in Crumb Cake on Basic White cardstock and die cut with the Tailor Made Tags die set. The final touches of the Natural Wavy Trim – which is hands down my favorite ribbon/trim of all, and a dash of purple and sparkle on the tag with the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems (another piece to the Painted Lavender Suite.)

Just needed to use the Autumn Leaves Suite – it was a must! I had a couple of ideas that I wanted to try out for this hop, they both just needed to work themselves out, because they would not stop dancing in my head. So here they both are.

The same theme and colors, just a different sketch. I am a huge copper fan, far exceeds gold and silver in my world and screams Autumn/Fall/Winter every year (in my world). The Copper Oxidized DSP and Ribbon just had to come play matched with Very Vanilla Cardstock, the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder and the leaves. After all they are bundled together in the Suite in the September – December 2023 Mini-Catalog. I wanted to keep everything feeling very natural/earthy, to me that means rough edges (however, controlled the chaos with the Deckled Circle and Rectangle dies). I stamped the Maple and Oak leaves with a DIY Baby Wipe technique, making my own “stamp pad” with Cherry Cobbler, Pecan Pie, Copper Clay and Pretty Peacock. The leaves are cut with the coordinating die and the veins are also cut with a coordinating die. The Maple and Oak leaf veins are Pecan Pie Card and the Holly Leaves (a 2nd generation stamping of Pretty Peacock) have Pretty Peacock Card veins. The sentiment “I’m Thankful” is heat embossed with Copper Embossing powder on a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock and die cut with a coordinating label die in the set. I attach all the layers together with Stampin’ Seal and then attach the finished panel to the Standard A4 Very Vanilla card base. The leaves and tag are attached with dimensionals and the copper bow is attached with a glue dot. Of course, the inside of the car joins this party with a die cut Oak leaf image from the same set. You maybe wondering where the intruder DSP came from….That is with another favorite suite of mine the Earthen Elegance 12″ x 12″ DSP from the Annual Catalog.
